Everyone was devastated, and Hrothgar and I are still in shock, but some-what nervous about what we are about to get ourselves into. Hrothgar, my men, and I are headed out to Grendel’s mother’s lair. It is for sure a one-of-a-kind place, with its deep water and dark visuals. I can only wonder how many people have tried to enter this place, but yet not to get through. And I and my warriors are going to enter this place with ease and kill this monster.
As soon as we entered the water, the battle had awoken. I am not going to deny, that this battle was not as easy as I had planned. Let’s just say that at the beginning of the fight, I did not think I was going to win, she actually had me down for a second. All I could think about was my whole goal. That goal was to be the hero of Heorot and let the people know that I can overcome any one in the path and that if they shall dare to step over that line, they will be destroyed, and that is what I will do. (I will lead up to my word.)
I then remembered the sword, it was humongous and was very powerful, any regular man would not even be able to lift it. I took that sword and with all my might decapitated her with it, for another extravagant victory.
